The spacious room provided a serene view of the river, offering a peaceful setting despite its proximity to the main road. The beds ensured a restful night's sleep, and the rustic interior, with its untreated wood accents, added to the authentic ambiance.The location, nestled amidst the beautiful and wild mountains, offered picturesque surroundings, perfect for exploring nearby peaks like Snøhetta and Jotunheimen. The friendly staff enhanced the experience, and the availability of free WiFi was a convenient touch. Breakfast was satisfying, and the restaurant's food was enjoyable. Though some aspects, like the bathroom, displayed signs of aging, the overall experience was pleasant for our overnight stop.I must commend the helpful hostess who went out of her way to make us feel at ease. If you appreciate a harmonious mix of tradition and modernity in a convenient location within the stunning Gudbrandsdalen region, consider this option for a peaceful retreat.
